About the Event
Join Rob and Hannah as we explore slightly further afield to enjoy Broxbourne Woods, following the NNR trail in Hoddesdon park Wood which forms part of the Hertfordshire’s only National Nature Reserve.
We’ll kick off our adventure at Broxbourne Station, where we’ll head down a path along the New River. This historic waterway, built in the early 1600s, offers lovely views of bridges, swans, and weeping willows. We’ll follow the path by the river, then wander through quiet streets until we reach Barclay Park. Here, we can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the park’s woodland areas and open spaces, soaking in the calm beauty of the surroundings.
From the park, we’ll make our way towards Broxbourne Woods, a vast and ancient forest that’s now a National Nature Reserve. We’ll follow the easy-to-follow trail through the woods, where we’ll be treated to stunning seasonal views—whether it’s the vibrant autumn leaves or…
