Join us for another Wildish Walk investigating the ancient woodland of Epping Forest. Starting at Chingford Station, we'll follow the Centenary trail finishing at Epping station, as we travel we will pass through the forest's beautiful treescapes in their full autumn glory.

About the Event

Join us for another Wildish Walk investigating the ancient woodland of Epping Forest.  

Starting at Chingford Station, we'll follow the Centenary trail finishing at Epping station, as we travel we will pass through the forest's beautiful treescapes in their full autumn glory.   

We'll take time to explore this ancient woodland, get to know some of its current inhabitants, as well as delving into some of the natural and human histories of this special place.  Dogs are very welcome.  

As ever, this is a chance to catch up with people who have been before on Wildish meet ups and also meet new people. Any questions, just give us a shout!

Chingford station, Station Road, E4 6AL

Chingford is direct from and to Liverpool Street. You can also change at Walthamstow Central (Victoria Line) onto the Overground. We will end the walk at Epping Station, which is on the Central Line.

What to bring: 

Drinks and snacks, appropriate outdoor shoes and clothes. It is likely there will be some muddy parts and it may be slippery.

Walk difficulty/distance:

Moderate variable terrain. 13 km/8.1 miles
